• Exempts ambulatory surgical centers from mandatory data reporting requirements for the state tumor registry if they submit a signed affidavit confirming they use a sole source pathology laboratory to report cancer-related data.

• Changes terminology from "ambulatory service centers" to "ambulatory surgical centers" for consistency with Section 2657 of Oklahoma Statutes.

• Maintains existing protections for patient and physician confidentiality in all tumor registry data collection and sharing.

• Effective date: November 1, 2014.
