SB 1876 Summary

• Amends 44 O.S. 2011, Section 232 regarding Oklahoma Military Department youth programs

• Changes "operate" to "administer" youth programs utilizing National Guard facilities and personnel to provide military-styled training to civilian youth

• Authorizes the Adjutant General to enter into agreements with federal, state, and local agencies, including grant agreements and contracts for advertising purposes

• Permits the Adjutant General to accept gifts and donations for youth programs and requires the Military Department to maintain records of all gifts received

• Effective date: November 1, 2014
