SB 1887 Summary

• Amends 27A O.S. 2011, Section 3-3-201 to modify conservation district board composition and structure.

• Allows consolidated conservation districts to have between 5-9 directors instead of the standard 5 directors.

• Permits 3-5 elected directors (previously 3) to serve staggered 3-year terms on district boards.

• Adjusts appointed director positions to 2-4 directors (depending on board size) serving 2-year terms, replacing the previous fixed number of appointed positions.

• Takes effect November 1, 2014.
