Amends 43A O.S. 2011, Section 1-103 relating to mental health definitions in Oklahoma law.

Expands the definition of "dangerous" in mental health commitment law to include persons with substantial risk of immediate physical harm to self (including suicide attempts) or to others through violent behavior.

Adds new subsection (13)(e) defining "dangerous" for purposes of Title 22, Section 1175.1 of Oklahoma Statutes with specific criteria for mental health intervention and commitment.

Becomes effective November 1, 2014.
