SB 1946 Summary

• Amends Section 9, Chapter 208, O.S.L. 2013 regarding workers' compensation agreements between employees and employers.

• Clarifies that no agreement allowing an employee to pay any portion of the employer's workers' compensation premium contributions is valid.

• Maintains existing prohibition that employers making deductions from employee pay for such purposes are guilty of a misdemeanor.

• Changes the phrase "such purposes" to "these purposes" for clarification of the language in the statute.

• Effective date: November 1, 2014.
