Updates the Oklahoma School Code statutory language in 70 O.S. 2011, Section 1-101 to modernize terminology and reference structure.

Changes the description from "This act" to "Section 1-101 et seq. of this title" to more clearly identify the scope of the Oklahoma School Code.

Replaces "shall be known as" with "shall be known and may be cited as" to provide alternative language for referencing the statutory code.

Effective date set for July 1, 2014 with an emergency clause allowing immediate effect upon passage and approval.
