• Modifies the definition of "pistols" under the Oklahoma Firearms Act of 1971 (21 O.S. 2011, Section 1289.3)

• Changes language from "a projectile" to "projectiles" to clarify that pistols can discharge multiple projectiles

• Maintains existing parameters for pistols: barrel length less than 16 inches, using gunpowder, gas, or rocket propulsion, excludes flare guns, underwater fishing guns, and blank pistols

• Effective date: November 1, 2014
