SB 2082 Summary

• Amends 63 O.S. 2011, Section 1-875 regarding State Department of Health inspections of adult day care centers

• Requires the State Department of Health to conduct inspections of adult day care centers at least annually and whenever deemed necessary to ensure compliance with the Adult Day Care Act and regulations

• Clarifies that licensees and license applicants consent to inspections and entry by authorized Department employees or agents in accordance with the Adult Day Care Act and regulations

• Establishes that refusal to permit inspection or entry may constitute grounds for denial, nonrenewal, suspension, or revocation of a license

• Effective date: November 1, 2014
