SB 2112 Summary

• Amends 21 O.S. 2011, Section 12.1 to update language regarding minimum sentencing requirements for certain felony offenses.

• Updates cross-reference from "Section 30 of this act" to "Section 13.1 of this title" regarding which felony offenses are subject to the 85% minimum sentence requirement.

• Maintains requirement that persons convicted of specified felony offenses committed on or after March 1, 2000 must serve at least 85% of their imposed sentence and are ineligible for parole or earned credits that would reduce the sentence below 85%.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2014.
