SB 619 Summary

• Amends 68 O.S. 2011, Section 341 regarding cancellation of cigarette and tobacco dealer licenses

• Requires the Oklahoma Tax Commission to cancel a dealer's license if convicted of violating the Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Act or any law pertaining to controlled substances

• Expands grounds for license cancellation to include conviction for violating rules or orders controlling new or noncontrolled products under Title 63, Section 2-201 of Oklahoma Statutes

• Adds conviction for violation of any federal drug or narcotic law as a cause for license cancellation

• Becomes effective November 1, 2013
