• Amends 63 O.S. 2011, Section 2-501 to expand peace officer powers regarding drug-related offenses and human trafficking investigations.

• Grants peace officers authority to conduct investigations and make arrests for money laundering and human trafficking activities.

• Requires arresting officers to ask arrested persons charged with drug-related offenses whether they are receiving public assistance (food stamps, TANF, housing assistance, or Medicaid).

• Mandates that law enforcement agencies collect responses to the public assistance question and make the data readily available to the Legislature upon request.
