Amends 21 O.S. 2011, Section 1541.4 to expand the definition of "false or bogus checks" to include checks given as payment to a landlord under a lease or rental agreement.

Maintains existing definition that false or bogus checks include those not honored due to insufficient funds, closed accounts, or nonexistent accounts when given in exchange for money, property, or any benefit or thing of value.

Specifies that checks offered for the purchase of goods or livestock are not considered an extension of credit by the seller, even if the check is refused by the drawee.

Clarifies that checks offered to a merchant on an open account constitute "a check or order given in exchange for a benefit or thing of value" regardless of subsequent account debits or charges.

Becomes effective November 1, 2014.
