• Urges the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to designate Iowa Pacific as a Passenger Operator on the Sooner Sub rail line

• Iowa Pacific currently operates the Eastern Flyer demonstration trains between Tulsa and Oklahoma City along the Sooner Sub corridor, with plans for dedicated shuttles to downtown areas, universities, and airports in both cities

• By October 1, 2014, the Eastern Flyer plans to operate six round trips between Sapulpa and Midwest City and two round trips between Tulsa and Midwest City with reduced running time of 2 hours and 15 minutes

• Requests that ODOT develop a contract with Iowa Pacific for passenger train service, with no cost to the State of Oklahoma

• Directs distribution of the resolution to the Governor, ODOT, Oklahoma Transportation Commission members, and Iowa Pacific Holdings
