Declares April 29, 2014, as the 6th Annual "Breast Cancer Awareness Day" in Oklahoma.

Recognizes breast cancer as the most common cancer among American women (1 in 8 lifetime diagnosis rate) and the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women, projected to claim nearly 40,000 lives in 2014.

Notes that nearly 233,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer were estimated to be diagnosed in women in 2014, though death rates have been declining since 1990 due to early detection and improved treatment.

Acknowledges that breast cancer survivors now number over 2.8 million in the U.S., and that men can also develop breast cancer with an estimated 2,400 diagnoses and 430 deaths projected in 2014.

Directs that copies of the resolution be distributed to the IBC Network Foundation, Professional Firefighters of Oklahoma, breast cancer survivor organizations, and former State Senator Judy Eason McIntyre.
