Congratulates Lawton Eisenhower High School for being named the National Math and Science Initiative "School of the Year" for the 2012-2013 school year.

Recognizes the National Math and Science Initiative launched in Oklahoma in 2011 with funding from Northrop Grumman, initially at Eisenhower High School and Carl Albert High School, later expanding to nine Oklahoma schools.

Acknowledges the Initiative's focus on improving college readiness through Advanced Placement (AP) programs, particularly for students from military families, while decreasing remediation costs and increasing STEM graduates.

Notes that Eisenhower High School exceeded third-year AP exam qualifying score goals in the first year and had the highest number of minority students achieving AP qualifying scores in the nation during 2012-2013.

Directs distribution of the resolution to the Lawton School District superintendent, Eisenhower High School principal, and Nathan Slate, Site Manager for Northrop Grumman in Lawton.
