• Proclaims February 23 to March 1, 2014 as "Emergency Management Week" in Oklahoma

• Acknowledges that Oklahoma has received 32 presidential disaster declarations since 2007, with over $486 million in infrastructure damage from ice storms, snow, tornadoes, flooding, and severe weather

• Recognizes the Oklahoma Emergency Management Association and emergency managers' role in preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation

• Encourages all Oklahoma citizens to prepare their homes and families for severe weather and to thank those contributing to emergency management across the state

• Directs distribution of the resolution to Roger Joliff, Emergency Manager for the City of Tulsa/Tulsa County and President of the Oklahoma Emergency Management Association
