Oklahoma Senate Resolution 74 designates Cherokee Nation Day at the Oklahoma State Capitol on April 21, 2014, to coincide with the annual Cherokee Nation Legislative Day

Recognizes the Cherokee Nation's over 160 years of commitment to providing services and economic benefits to the State of Oklahoma

Acknowledges the Cherokee Nation as the largest federally recognized tribe in Oklahoma and in the United States

Notes the Cherokee Nation's recognition on the Oklahoma State Seal

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Cherokee Principal Chief Bill John Baker
