Congratulates the Alva High School Ladybugs for winning the 2014 Class 3A State Basketball Championship by defeating the Adair Lady Warriors in the final game.

Commends the team for defeating the #1, #3, and #4 ranked teams in the state en route to winning their third state championship in school history.

Recognizes the Alva Ladybugs as 2013-2014 Class 3A Academic All-State Champions for having the highest cumulative GPA among any Class 3A school in the state.

Honors sophomore Jaden Hobbs, named tournament MVP, who set a scoring record with 107 points in the championship tournament.

Directs distribution of the resolution to Alva High School women's basketball head coach Eric Smith, Superintendent Steve Parkhurst, and Principal Randy Atkins.
