Extends the sunset termination date of the State Board of Examiners of Perfusionists from July 1, 2015 to July 1, 2019 under the Oklahoma Sunset Law.

Board consists of 9 members appointed by the State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision: 3 public members, 4 licensed perfusionists, and 2 physicians board-certified in cardiovascular surgery.

Licensed perfusionist members must have at least 5 years of experience in perfusion services, teaching, or research, and hold valid Oklahoma licenses or initial CCP certification from the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.

Members serve staggered initial terms of 1-3 years, then 5-year terms, with a limit of 3 consecutive terms; 5 members constitute a quorum.

Board members may be removed for lacking required qualifications, violating prohibitions under the Oklahoma Licensed Perfusionists Act, inability to serve due to illness or disability, or absence from more than half of regularly scheduled meetings in a calendar year without Board-approved excuse.
