ICAC unit of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation may subpoena witnesses, compel testimony, and require production of records relevant to investigations of Internet crimes against children, subject to approval by the Division Director and legal counsel.

Witnesses summoned have the option to comply by appearing/producing documents or submitting written refusal notice within 10 days of service.

Subpoenas may be served by designated person on natural persons via personal delivery, or on corporations/partnerships via delivery to an authorized agent; affidavit of service serves as proof.

District court may compel compliance with subpoenas if witness refuses or contumacy occurs; failure to obey court order may be punished as indirect contempt; process may be served in any judicial district.

District court of the county where subpoena is served may quash the subpoena upon motion filed by the subpoenaed party; act becomes effective November 1, 2015.
