Amends Section 1272 of Oklahoma law regarding unlawful carry of weapons to add a new exception for licensed emergency medical technicians.

Licensed emergency medical technicians may possess a firearm while providing emergency ambulance transport services if they hold a valid handgun license under the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act.

Firearm must be stored in a secure compartment in the front passenger cab of the ambulance and cannot be carried on the technician's person.

Licensed emergency medical technicians are prohibited from possessing, carrying, or storing more than one firearm at a time in the ambulance.

Act becomes effective November 1, 2015.
