HB 1333 Summary

• State Department of Education shall develop or utilize an existing index to compare and rank cognitive skills and educational attainment of Oklahoma students with international students.

• Index results shall be included on annual school site report cards beginning with the 2016-2017 school year.

• Index results shall not be used in determining school site grades or affecting school accountability ratings.

• School site report cards must be published annually on the Department's website and distributed to parents by school districts.

• Act becomes effective July 1, 2015, with emergency declaration for immediate implementation.
