OK HB1695

Creates the "Breast Cancer Prevention Act" to be codified in Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-553.1 of Title 63.

Defines "physician" as an individual licensed under the Oklahoma Allopathic Medical and Surgical Licensure and Supervision Act or the Oklahoma Osteopathic Medicine Act.

Requires mammogram facilities to provide patients with a specific notice if a physician determines the patient has dense or extremely dense breasts based on the American College of Radiology's breast imaging reporting and data system.

Provides that the Act does not create liability for non-compliance, does not establish a duty of care beyond providing the required notice, and does not conflict with federal Mammography Quality Standards Act requirements.

Becomes effective November 1, 2015.
