HB 1748 Summary

• All state agencies must make annual disclosures of federal funds under their control, including which programs receive those funds, organized by distinct expenditure categories and ranked by reliance level.

• Agencies must disclose all actions required or prohibited for state entities to receive or maintain federal funds, and all conditions imposed on individuals or businesses receiving benefits from those federal funds.

• Agencies must annually disclose federal funds requiring implementation costs, listed in descending order from most costly to least costly.

• Agencies administering federal funds requiring security clearance maintenance are exempt from these disclosure requirements.

• The act becomes effective November 1, 2015.
