Adds "prepaid funeral benefits" as a seventh category for limited lines producer licensing, defined as insurance or annuity contracts providing funding for formal funeral agreements to provide funeral services and merchandise as secured by or solicited by funeral establishments.

Limited lines producers selling prepaid funeral benefits are exempt from the general continuing education requirements applicable to other insurance producers.

Limited lines producers selling prepaid funeral benefits must complete a minimum of 6 hours of continuing education annually, with 2 hours focused on ethics.

Effective date is November 1, 2015.
