Amends 43 O.S. 2011, Section 109.2 to authorize courts to award custody to a presumed father prior to genetic testing in paternity actions if it is in the best interests of the child

Defines "presumed father" as a man who is recognized as the father of a child by operation of law under Section 7700-204 of Title 10 of the Oklahoma Statutes until that status is rebutted or confirmed in judicial proceedings

Maintains existing court authority to determine custody of minor unmarried children, award child support to the custodial parent, and order payment of costs and attorney fees

Becomes effective November 1, 2015
