Amends 59 O.S. 2011, Section 887.12 regarding the Physical Therapy Practice Act and physical therapist licensing requirements.

Physical therapist and physical therapist assistant licenses expire January 31 annually and may be renewed in January upon submission of application, evidence of continuing education or alternative requirements, and payment of fees.

State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision shall establish by rule the requirements for continuing education programs and alternative requirements to establish continuing competence to practice, including minimum hours needed.

Board shall consider existing continuing education programs currently available to licensed physical therapists and physical therapist assistants when establishing these requirements.

Act becomes effective November 1, 2015.
