Amends 59 O.S. 2011, Section 519.3 to clarify language in the Physician Assistant Act relating to the Physician Assistant Committee.

The Committee shall consist of seven members: two physician assistants, three physicians (from Medical Licensure Board, State Medical Association, and State Board of Osteopathic Examiners), one physician from Oklahoma Osteopathic Association, and one licensed pharmacist from Board of Pharmacy.

Committee members serve five-year terms, with initial appointments staggered (two three-year terms, two five-year terms for Board members; one two-year and one four-year term for Osteopathic Examiners members; one five-year term for pharmacist).

Committee shall meet at least quarterly with a four-member quorum and shall advise the Board on licensure requirements, educational standards, continuing competence, prescribing authority, grounds for revocation/suspension, and remote patient care practice standards.

Act becomes effective November 1, 2015.
