Amends 59 O.S. 2011, Section 519.3 relating to the Physician Assistant Act by clarifying language regarding the composition and duties of the Physician Assistant Committee.

Physician Assistant Committee consists of 7 members: two physician assistants appointed by the State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision, two physicians from the State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision, one physician from the State Board of Osteopathic Examiners, one physician from the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association, and one licensed pharmacist from the Board of Pharmacy.

Committee members serve 5-year terms with staggered initial appointments of varying lengths (2-5 years) and must meet at least quarterly with 4 members constituting a quorum.

Committee advises the Board on educational standards, licensure requirements, continuing competence methods, prescriptive authority, license revocation/suspension grounds, remote patient care practice approval, and reviews all physician assistant licensure applications.

The act becomes effective November 1, 2015.
