Amends 74 O.S. 2011, Section 150.7 to add a new power allowing the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Director to enter into local cooperative agreements for appointing affiliate task force agents to assist with major crime investigations.

Affiliate task force agents remain employees and commissioned officers of their local law enforcement agency and are not employees of the OSBI.

Affiliate task force agents have general peace officer powers and authority to arrest persons throughout the state while serving in that capacity.

Affiliate task force agents serve solely at the discretion of the OSBI Director, who may renew, suspend, or revoke any agreement at any time.

Effective date: November 1, 2015.
