SB 205 Summary

• Amends 10A O.S. 2011, Section 2-2-503 to establish that willful violation of any court order issued under the Oklahoma Juvenile Code constitutes indirect contempt of court.

• Establishes punishment for indirect contempt of court violations: fine not to exceed $300.00, placement in a juvenile detention center for not more than 10 days, or both fine and placement.

• Applies to all court orders issued in juvenile delinquency and supervision cases, including orders regarding probation, restitution, community service, and other dispositional requirements.

• Effective date: November 1, 2015.
