SB 270 Summary

• Oklahoma Health Care Authority shall contract for an independent audit to identify ineligible participants in the Oklahoma Medicaid Program.

• Audit purpose is to identify, investigate, and resolve potential cases of fraud, misrepresentation, or inadequate documentation prior to determining applicant eligibility.

• Contract shall require the audit to analyze eligibility of all participants in the Oklahoma Medicaid Program with payment distributed only as performance-based goals are attained.

• Oklahoma Health Care Authority Board shall promulgate rules to implement the provisions of this act.

• Act becomes effective November 1, 2015.
