Limits credit for military service and out-of-state teaching experience to a maximum of 5 years for state salary purposes, though school districts may offer more credit on their own schedules.

Exempts teaching professionals who have entered postretirement employment and are still receiving monthly retirement benefits from the minimum salary schedule requirements.
