Senate Bill 446 Summary

• Amends Oklahoma's service lien procedures for personal property including vehicles, boats, motorcycles, and manufactured homes with certificates of title.

• Increases the number of public places where notice of sale must be posted from two to three locations in the county where property is to be sold.

• Modifies notice requirements and procedures for both Section 91 (titled property with active liens) and Section 91A (property without active liens or without titles).

• Allows digital or electronic signatures and seals in place of original signatures and notary seals on lien notices and foreclosure documents.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2015.
