Full-time school support employees receive a one-time pay increase of $1,200, prorated for part-time employees.

School districts are prohibited from reducing employee hours to prevent qualification for or offset the compensation increase.

School districts cannot require support employees to work more than the full-time hours standard to receive the full increase amount.

Effective date is July 1, 2015, with emergency clause allowing immediate effect upon passage and approval.
