Amends 21 O.S. 2011, Section 1290.15 to modify exemptions from firearm training course requirements under the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act.

Changes language in subsection B to replace "CLEET" with "the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training" for clarity in identifying the authority that deems persons qualified for training exemptions.

Changes language in subsection B to replace "CLEET" with "the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training" in reference to establishing criteria and rules for exemption certificates.

Persons applying for exemptions under paragraphs 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 may still be required to complete the classroom portion of the training course, with fees determined by the instructor or conducting entity.

Becomes effective November 1, 2015.
