State shall reimburse counties for legal costs incurred in defending constitutional challenges to state constitutional provisions or state statutes where the county or its officers are named parties.

Reimbursable legal costs exclude work performed by the county's district attorney or other county employees designated as legal counsel.

Bill does not apply to cases filed prior to January 1, 2000.

New section codified as Section 6.1 of Title 19 of the Oklahoma Statutes.

Effective date is November 1, 2015.
