SB 691 Summary

• Amends 37 O.S. 2011, Section 163.18B, which establishes duties for manufacturers of low-point beer licensed by the Oklahoma Tax Commission.

• Prohibits wholesalers from waiving the application of state law in agreements with manufacturers regarding sales territory and designated brands.

• Establishes that disputes involving manufacturer-wholesaler agreements shall be resolved in the district and appellate courts of Oklahoma.

• Requires each manufacturer to authorize only one licensed wholesaler per designated sales territory and designate responsibility for brand distribution.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2015.
