Department of Human Services shall provide annual credit reports to each youth in its custody who is 16 years or older.

Department must inform the court with jurisdiction over the youth of any inaccuracies in credit reports showing evidence of identity theft or fraudulent activity made on behalf of the youth.

Department may implement credit report requirements in stages, beginning with youth in the independent living program whose credit ratings may inhibit employment and housing opportunities after leaving custody.

Department must submit annual implementation reports to Senate and House Health and Human Services Committee chairs and vice chairs, including number of youths receiving reports, frequency, and administrative issues, continuing until November 1, 2018.

Act becomes effective November 1, 2015.
