Enrolled Senate Bill No. 845 Summary

• Administrator of Oklahoma Health Care Authority sets duties and compensation of employees, and is authorized to pay professional expenses including dues, licenses, memberships, and continuing education for themselves and Oklahoma licensed physicians employed full-time by the Authority.

• Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall transfer monies between Oklahoma Health Care Authority federal and revolving funds as requested for cash management of federal grants and receipts.

• Oklahoma Health Care Authority may request exemption from expenditure and budgetary limitations for unanticipated federal funds awarded after July 1, 2015, subject to approval by Office of Management and Enterprise Services unless Joint Legislative Committee on Budget and Program Oversight Chair and Vice Chair object within 12 calendar days.

• Appropriations from Enrolled House Bill No. 2242 (excluding capital outlay) for Oklahoma Health Care Authority may be budgeted for fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, or June 30, 2017, with funds encumbered by those dates and expended by November 15 of the following year or lapsing to the proper fund.

• Act becomes effective July 1, 2015, with emergency clause declaring it effective upon passage and approval.
