OK SJR23

Directs the Secretary of State to submit a proposed amendment to Section 1 of Article I of the Oklahoma Constitution to voters for approval or rejection.

Declares that Oklahoma is an inseparable part of the Federal Union and that the United States Constitution is the supreme law of the land to which all state and federal government is subject.

Authorizes Oklahoma to exercise sovereign authority to restrict state actions and financial resources to purposes consistent with the U.S. Constitution through initiatives, referendums, bills, resolutions, or other available legal remedies.

Prohibits the state and its political subdivisions from using personnel or financial resources to enforce, administer, or cooperate with any federal action or program that the people or their representatives designate as unconstitutional.

Requires the President Pro Tempore of the Senate to file copies of the resolution and ballot title with the Secretary of State and Attorney General immediately after passage.
