OK SJR7

Directs the Secretary of State to submit a proposed constitutional amendment to Oklahoma voters adding Section 26A to Article X of the Oklahoma Constitution.

Prohibits cities, towns, and townships from becoming indebted or contractually obligated unless approved by: (1) affirmative vote of a majority of elected governing body members, (2) an officer delegated this power by the governing body, or (3) assent of a majority of voters at an election.

Establishes the amendment as cumulative to existing Section 26 of Article X and does not nullify its limitations on indebtedness exceeding annual income and revenue.

Requires the President Pro Tempore of the Senate to immediately file one copy of the resolution and ballot title with the Secretary of State and one copy with the Attorney General.
