OK HB1734

Requires all persons, firms, partnerships, corporations, and other entities making payments of taxes, fees, fines, charges, costs, or other expenses to state or local government entities to make payments payable to the government office, agency, or entity by name.

Prohibits making payment instruments payable to the individual who holds the public office.

Creates new Section 9001 of Title 62 of the Oklahoma Statutes to codify this requirement.

Effective date: November 1, 2015.
