Applicants age 17 or younger seeking a motorcycle endorsement must complete a certified state-approved motorcycle basic rider course in addition to written, vision, and driving examinations

Applicants age 14 or older seeking a restricted Class D license with motorcycle-only restriction must complete a certified state-approved motorcycle basic rider course before the license can be issued

Written and driving examinations for motorcycle endorsements shall be waived (changed from "may be waived") upon completion of a certified state-approved motorcycle basic rider course
