Amends Oklahoma trespass law (21 O.S. 2011, Section 1835) to allow property owners to post land using purple paint marks as an alternative to traditional "No Trespassing" signs

Purple paint marks must be vertical lines at least 8 inches long, positioned between 3 and 5 feet from the ground, placed no more than 100 feet apart and at each entry point

Maintains existing penalties for trespass: fine up to $250 for simple trespass; fine of $50-$500 and/or 30 days to 6 months imprisonment for trespass involving waste, theft, or damage

Exempts registered land surveyors and professional engineers performing professional services from trespass provisions

Effective date: November 1, 2017
