Increases the minimum salary schedule for Oklahoma public school teachers beginning with the 2016-2017 school year, raising starting pay for teachers with a Bachelor's degree from $31,600 to $34,100

Salary increases apply across all degree levels (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate) and experience levels (0-25 years), with the maximum salary for a teacher with 25 years experience and a Doctorate rising from $46,000 to $48,500

Implementation is contingent upon the availability of funds appropriated by the legislature for this purpose

Teachers with National Board Certification receive additional salary premiums above the base schedule for their degree level

Effective date of July 1, 2016, with an emergency clause allowing immediate effect upon passage and approval
