Increases the maximum recovery amount for small claims court from $7,500 to $10,000 for actions involving money recovery based on contract or tort, personal property replevin, and interpleader actions

Raises the threshold for transferring cases to regular district court from $7,500 to $10,000 when a claim, counterclaim, or setoff exceeds the small claims limit

Judgments exceeding $10,000 (previously $7,500) in small claims court cannot be enforced for the amount above the limit unless both parties agree in writing to proceed under small claims procedure
