Re-creates the Teacher and Leader Effectiveness Commission under the Oklahoma Sunset Law, extending its termination date from July 1, 2016 to July 1, 2022

Commission provides oversight and advises the State Board of Education on the Oklahoma Teacher and Leader Effectiveness Evaluation System (TLE), including reviewing quantitative and qualitative measures and ensuring valid implementation

17-member commission includes legislators, the Superintendent of Public Instruction, representatives from higher education, technology centers, teacher organizations, business groups, and parent-teacher organizations

Members receive no compensation but are reimbursed for travel expenses; staff support provided by the State Department of Education and Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation

Commission must issue an annual report by December 31 to the Governor, Speaker of the House, and President Pro Tempore of the Senate
