Reauthorizes the income tax checkoff allowing Oklahoma taxpayers to donate from their tax refunds to the Oklahoma Wildlife Diversity Program, effective January 1, 2017

Donations fund the Wildlife Diversity Fund, a revolving fund managed by the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission for preserving, protecting, and enhancing nongame wildlife

Nongame wildlife is defined as any species not legally classified as a game species or furbearer by statute or rule

Taxpayers who donate in error may file a refund claim within 3 years of the tax return due date

Act becomes effective November 1, 2016
