HB2950 Summary

• Amends 47 O.S. 2011, Section 1135.5 to add a new Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation License Plate as item 59 to the list of authorized specialty license plates in Oklahoma.

• Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation License Plates shall be designed in consultation with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and promote support for the foundation's conservation efforts.

• Tax Commission authorized to enter into licensing agreement with Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation with payment of not more than $20.00 per license plate issued.

• Specialty license plate fee is $35.00 in addition to all other registration fees, with $20.00 apportioned to the fund specified in the authorizing paragraph, $8.00 to the Oklahoma Tax Commission Reimbursement Fund, and remaining amounts per Section 1104.

• Effective date is November 1, 2016.
